Standard PCIe Transparent I/O Expansion - Card to Card, Multi Node using Switches
Dolphin line of standard PCIe Host and Target adapters can be used for traditional IO expansion. These cards require no software and rely on standard PCI Express
bridging technology to connect downstream targets. Dolphin adapter cards can be used to connect expansion boxes or other standard PCIe IO systems, such as JBOFs
(Just a Bunch Of Flash), cameras, or sensors. Dolphin also provide transparent board management software, that manages and monitors their transparent cards - this
software provides reporting of firmware revision, board serial number, active configuration setting, and PCIe link and host slot status. Dolphin also provide a
range of cable types include iPass, MiniSAS-HD, and PCIe 3.0 & 4.0 cables. All products are designed to the PCI SIG specifications and can be connected to PCI SIG
compliant products.
Reflective Memory - High Speed, Multicast
Dolphin's range of Reflective & Shared Memory products delivers low latency performance for real time applications such as simulation, test & measurement, high speed
replication, and distributed video. They are suited to the deployment of high speed reliable networks where fast data collection and data replication is
required. Typical applications can range from a two-node fail over pair to large DSM applications like aircraft, ship and submarine simulators, automated
testing systems, industrial automation and high-speed data acquisition. Because of their inherent replication they are especially good for fault tolerance.

Super Sockets - High Speed, Low Latency
A PCI Express® network can replace local Ethernet networks with a higher speed lower latency network. The combination of Dolphin’s PCI Express® hardware and Dolphin’s
SuperSockets™ delivers maximum application performance without necessitating application changes. SuperSockets™ is a unique implementation of the Berkeley Sockets API
that capitalizes on the PCI Express® transport to transparently achieve performance gains for existing socket-based network applications. Dolphin Express hardware and
the SuperSockets™ software layer create an ultra-low latency, high-bandwidth, low overhead, and high availability platform to support the most demanding sockets based
applications. With support for both Linux and Windows Operating systems, new and existing applications can easily be deployed on a high performance PCI Express® network
without any modifications.

Shared Memory - Peer to Peer Transfers for GPUs and FPGAs, High Throughput, Low Latency
Dolphin’s Software Infrastructure Shared-Memory Cluster Interconnect (SISCI) API makes developing PCI Express® Network applications faster and easier. The SISCI API is a
well established API for shared memory environments and can be used for both intra and inter system communication. the SISCI API enables PCI Express® based applications
to use distributed resources like CPUs, I/O, and memory. The resulting application features reduced system latency and increased data throughput.

High Speed Data Transfers - Transfer of Large Data Sets
If you need to tranfer large data sets and currently use 10 Gigabit Ethernet, a PCI Express Network may be the right choice for you. PCI Express networks are high speed
local area networks for connecting two or more systems. Once connected developers can use existing sockets applications or TCP/IP commands to move data between machines
with the benefit of higher throughput and lower latency. There are various uses for a PCI Express Network. It can be used to transfer files, create high availability
systems with a redundant node, create offloads backup of data without in shorter time periods. Distributed Replicated Block Device (DRBD) is an example of using a PCI
Express network to create a high availablity application. Dolphin's PCI Express solution delivers significant improvements in DRBD transaction throughput and latency and
provides the best possible combination of performance, scalability and application security through replication.
Device Lending - Share Network Resources (NVMe's, FPGA's, GPU's)
Dolphin eXpressWare SmartIO software offers a flexible way to enable PCIe IO devices (NVMes, FPGAs, GPUs etc) to be accessed within a PCIe Network. Devices can be borrowed
over the PCIe network without any software overhead at the performance of PCI Express. Device Lending is a simple way to reconfigure systems and reallocate resources. GPUs,
NVMe drives or FPGAs can be added or removed without having to be physically installed in a particular system on the network. The result is a flexible simple method of
creating a pool of devices that maximizes usage. Since this solution uses standard PCIe, it don’t add any software overhead to the communication path. Standard PCIe
transactions are used between the systems. Dolphins eXpressWare software manages the connection and is responsible for setting up the PCIe Non Transparent Bridge (NTB) mappings.
